Counsellor and Psychotherapist

About me

How I work

I'm Liz, a Relational Integrative Psychotherapist. I believe that relationship patterns hold the key to a more insightful and reflective understanding of ourselves. As an Integrative Therapist I can draw on a number of styles, such as Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Theory, to tailor your therapy to meet your unique needs. I offer both short and long term counselling.  I work collaboratively with you, understanding that you are the expert on 'you'.

Experience and practice

I worked for many years in Education before achieving an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.  In 2013 I began working in a busy GP Surgery and have now moved into private practice. I work in a boundaried and ethical way.  I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am bound by their code of ethics, which can be found on the BACP web site.
